From Commitment to Action: Omega Vote’s REACH 4 Strategy Seeks to Mobilize Thousands

by Omega Network for Action

What does meaningful civic engagement look like when individuals are asked to do more than simply encourage people to vote? Omega Vote, in partnership with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., is proposing REACH 4, a national nonpartisan civic engagement initiative centered on direct outreach, individual accountability, and measurable participation. Built around the message “Four Voters. One Mission,” the campaign invites individuals and community partners to translate their personal networks into opportunities for voter education and practical election preparation.

The strategy calls on every participant to select four eligible voters and personally help them navigate the election process. Through the four-step REACH 4 challenge, individuals will CHECK 4 by confirming voter registration information, EDUCATE 4 by sharing credible nonpartisan election resources, FOLLOW UP WITH 4 by maintaining communication through Election Day, and PLAN WITH 4 by helping those individuals establish clear voting arrangements. The objective is to reduce informational and practical barriers while protecting each voter’s ability to make independent decisions.

Participation does not require a formal leadership position or specialized experience. Individuals can begin by identifying four eligible voters, contacting them, and directing them to official election resources. Community organizations can support the effort by sharing educational materials, organizing outreach activities, and encouraging volunteers to serve as civic education ambassadors. Omega Vote’s proposed campaign also welcomes contributions through professional expertise, research, volunteer service, and other nonpartisan civic engagement activities.

To strengthen national coordination, the initiative proposes an October 22, 2026, virtual town hall featuring a moderated discussion, invited community perspectives, questions and answers, and a formal REACH 4 pledge. Participants would first be challenged to invite four people to the event and then engage four voters through November 3. The proposed campaign also includes weekly coalition check-ins to coordinate activities, address emerging challenges, and assess progress. Its measurement framework would track pledges, contacts, educational engagement, voting plans, and follow-ups separately, without collecting individual voting choices.

The potential impact demonstrates the power of a focused, repeatable strategy. If 5,000 participants each connect with four eligible voters, the initiative could generate 20,000 civic engagement contacts; 10,000 participants could generate 40,000. These numbers represent outreach potential, with actual participation to be measured through campaign reporting. Omega Vote and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., are advancing a vision in which civic responsibility begins with individual action and grows through sustained community engagement. The challenge is not merely to reach four voters, but to provide meaningful support that encourages informed participation beyond a single election.
