Established in 2021 by Omega Network For Action, the James E. Clyburn Leadership Institute (JECLI) will operate as a training arm of the organization with the primary purpose of cultivating the next generation of legislative leaders. During a 12-month cohort, selected participants will become Fellows and receive guidance as well as tools for running effective, ethical campaigns to win elected office. Sample topics the JECLI will cover range from Campaign Financing to Organizing Principles to Coalition Building.

The official launch of the Clyburn Leadership Institute will occur at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 52^nd Annual Legislative Conference. The nine Fellows accepted into the inaugural cohort for the 2023/2024 programming year are –
