WASHINGTON, D.C.—Omega Network For Action, Inc. (ONFA), a national 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to advocacy, education, economics, and empowerment, proudly endorses Peter Borman for Council Member at Large in Fridley, Minnesota. A Critical Infrastructure Engineer with more than 32 years in the telecommunications industry, Peter has called Fridley home for over three decades. He and his wife Linda have been married for more than 31 years and are proud parents to an adult daughter, Kayla, whom they care for at home. Peter’s professional expertise, deep roots in the community, and lived experience as a caregiver give him a grounded, practical understanding of what families and residents need from local government.
Peter Borman brings a proven record of service and leadership to Fridley. He has served as Past President and Board Member of the Fridley Lions Club, a Board Member of the Springbrook Nature Center Foundation, and Parade Chairman and Past President of the Fridley 49er Days Festival. His public service includes the Parks and Recreation Commission (2018–present, Chair), the Planning Commission (2022–present), and the Charter Commission (2003–2015). Peter believes in fair elections and trusts the integrity of local election judges who serve the community with honesty. Looking ahead, he is committed to thoughtful revitalization and redevelopment—listening closely to residents and business leaders to ensure Fridley’s next decade reflects the community’s values and priorities.
