Criteria and Questions for Endorsement or Support
To be considered for endorsement or a call for support, candidates must provide thorough and detailed responses to the following questions. These criteria help ensure transparency and allow for informed decision-making in the endorsement process.
Platform for Office
Describe the platform and key policies you intend to pursue if elected to the office you are seeking.
Campaign Funding
- State the total amount of money your campaign has raised to date.
- Indicate whether your campaign is self-funded.
Polling Status
Provide information regarding your current polling status, including any relevant data or trends.
Campaign Staff
Detail the size of your campaign team, including paid staff and volunteers.
Filing Status
Confirm whether you have officially filed to run for the office in question.
Public Engagement
Include links to publications, public statements, speeches, op-eds, or lectures that demonstrate your public engagement and communication with constituents.
Previous Experience
List any previous elected offices you have held, highlighting your relevant experience in public service.
Legal Status
Disclose whether you have a criminal record or are currently under investigation or indictment at the federal, state, or local level.
Endorsement and Support Consideration Guidelines
- Any Omega running for any office will be considered for endorsement or support, provided the request is made at least 120 days before the election and all requested information is submitted.
- Non-Omegas may be considered for endorsement or support if they are running for state-wide, national, or other high-profile races.
