We are proud to celebrate Sedrick Spencer, Vice President, who was recently featured by California State University, San Bernardino as part of its 60th Anniversary recognition of alumni whose lives and leadership have been shaped by the university.

Earning both his bachelor’s degree (1991) and master’s degree in public administration (1996) from CSUSB, he credits the university’s mentorship, accessibility, and community—particularly among African American students and faculty—for preparing him to navigate high-stakes professional environments and “have a voice in the room.”

Beyond his professional achievements, the feature highlights Vice President Spencer’s deep commitment to service, mentorship, and leadership—values that continue to guide his work today. His story is a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of public education, intentional mentorship, and staying connected to institutions that helped shape who we become.
